Joelle's trip to Maine 2009
Matt's sister Joelle and her two kids Jake and Morgan came to visit us in Maine from Salt Lake City this summer. We had the best time with them when they were here. They also brought with them the only summer weather we had! Here are Jake and Morgan on Grammy's dock.

Joelle and Jake trying the tube. Jake ended up hurting his foot and I think Joelle was hurt too....Matt was driving of course!

Reid, Morgan, and Isabelle enjoying the water.

Tristan with his bass! He caught this at Pops house and only after 5 casts! Jake was a little upset since he had been fishing for quite some time and hadn't caught anything!

Ben calls this his sad picture. I saw him just sitting on this stump looking out on the water and picking up sticks. He looked so cute I took several pictures. When he finally noticed me he said "Mommy I'm sad".

Jake trying his first lobster in Boothbay Harbor. He loved it and he like the steamed clams too.

A great group picture thanks to our waitress. We are at Fisherman's Wharf in Boothbay Harbor.

ICE CREAM!

We are at Pemaquid Point in this picture.

I set up the timer on the camera to get this group photo. Still at Pemaquid Point. It's not easy to run on the seaweed and slippery rocks when you set the timer!

Jake's first swim in the Atlantic Ocean....or any ocean for that matter! This is Pemaquid Beach.

Sea Dogs! The kids with Slugger. We all went to a Portland Sea Dogs game, including Megan, Rusty, Matty and Isabelle and some of their friends too.

Reid and Ben with the real Slugger.

Matt took a shot of us in our seats. Rusty and Megan and their friends were right in front of us.

T and Jake.

Most of us went to see how hard we could through a baseball, they had a gun to clock our speed. Here's Jake.

And Reid.

Morgan.

Me.

Matt.

Jake finally caught a nice sized fish. He fished as much as he could on this trip.

We had a family meeting to figure out our plans. You had to wear the hat and hold the talking stick to speak. Here's Aunt Joelle.

Benny-man.

Morgan and Reid ready to tube. Morgan was so scared of going in the boat when they arrived. So scared she and Aunt Joelle had to miss Ben's celebration on the party barge! We slowly worked through her fears and she started to enjoy the boat rides and went in the tube!

Here are the girls with their hands up!

Happy girl (Morgan) on the boat swimming in the middle of the lake!
