First Beach Trip 2008 to Ogunquit

Reid and Ben and I went to Ogunquit beach last week for our first beach trip of the summer. Reid had been asking to go to the beach since her last day of school! The kids had a great time. First they played in the shallow pool that had fairly warm water in it.

Then we went to the big ocean and the waves. We played in the waves for a while jumping over them and through them and just having fun. After we pulled out the beach toys again and they started hauling water from the ocean to add to their sand creations.
I love this picture of their backs heading to the ocean to get more water. I'm sitting in my chair relaxing....ahhhhhhhhBig smile from our happy girl.
And a cute side profile of Benny-man.

Uncle Wells and Aunt Maureen's 25th Anniversary Party

My Aunt and Uncle on my mother's side have been married for 25 years so their best friends decided to throw them a surprise party at their house on the ocean. We were very excited to be invited and able to attend. The picture of Matt and the kids is on the balcony overlooking the ocean. My mom and I wanted to help out with the party so we brought the cake! It just so happens a new bakery opened up here in South Berwick called Monkey Business Bakery and they made this beautiful and delicious cake for us!
Happy Anniversary Uncle Wells and Aunt Maureen!

Tristan's Grade 5 Graduation

Tristan's school had a graduation for the 5th grader's. How many times are our kids going to graduate before they are 18? Anyway I took a few shots to share with whoever reads our blog. The first picture is T waiting to get his diploma and shake hands with his teacher and various other staff from the school. I'm not sure what T is doing here, maybe standing up to be recognized for an award? He received an award for his advanced math class and he got the president's award too. Good Job T!
Here's T with his teacher from 5th grade.
And here he is being Tristan!
