Grandma and Grandpa Byrds visit 2007
Matt and I told ourselves we would take more pictures during Grandma and Grandpa Byrd's trip this year, well at least our intentions were good! We had a great visit with Matt's parents, they came over Labor day weekend. We picked them up in Portland and drove right up to West Gardiner to spend some time on the lake. We took them on several boat rides around the lake which they seemed to enjoy. We also took them up to Belgrade for dinner with Grammy. We then headed up to Rangeley for a night. Matt's parents hadn't been to Rangeley and Saddleback yet. We took a couple of pictures overlooking Rangeley lake at the base of Dallas Hill.
We spent the night at the condo on the mountain and had breakfast at the Ginger Bread house the next morning before we headed back down to South Berwick. Reid had her first day of school while Matt's parents where here and the picture below is of Pops and Grandpa Byrd waiting for Reid's school bus. The bus was quite late as it was the first day of school. Reid gets off the bus at our neighbors house across the street as there are a few kids getting on and off the bus and this is a good meeting point.
I got a picture of Grandpa Byrd snoozing on the couch as Grandma Byrd was napping upstairs. Apparently we run them ragged when they come to visit us!
Thank you for a great visit Grandpa and Grandma Byrd! We miss you!
