Benjamin's 2nd Birthday

Benjamin opening Pops' present. Pops is visiting Catherine and family right now so he couldn't be with us. Tristan is on vacation with his Mom and couldn't be with us tonight too. Ben loves cars and trucks.
Mommy and Daddy got Ben some cars from the movie Cars.
Rod and Doris came over for the presents and the cake. Rod and Matt picked at the guitars and helped us with the singing of Happy Birthday. You can't really see Rod or Matt in this picture but I still liked it.

West Gardiner with the Devine's

We invited our friends, the Devine's, up to West Gardiner for the weekend. We went to the concert on the lake Saturday and enjoyed ourselves until the heavens opened up on us. We of course didn't remember the camera most of the weekend so we missed some great picture opportunities. Ah well. We tried to get Sean up on skis.....

He gave it his best effort, we'll get you up next time!
We got the kids in the tube and the girls loved riding with Matt. Tristan had some great tube rides this weekend too. Sean enjoyed the tube much more than trying to get up on skis too. Ben went for his first tube ride and he did ok but only lasted a couple of minutes before he wanted to get out.

Happy July 4th!

We spent July 4th in Belgrade again this year. We were lucky to get a few days away as Tristan had a break from baseball. Reid still loves to ride horses. It looks like maybe the horse is smiling too?

Tristan decided the safer route was on the saddle swing. It was a nice swing, I went on it too!Ben didn't want to ride on the horse either and here he is on a bouncing/rocking horse we all had as kids.We went back to the seacoast after July 4th for our friends, Mark and Deb's, 25th wedding anniversary party. Happy Anniversary Mark and Deb! Matt and Tristan were playing catch on the rocks. What a beautiful location!
Reid was very excited to wear her dress to the party. It wasn't very warm but the view of the ocean from the deck was so nice we all braved the cold to enjoy it.
