Reid skiing all on her own!

Here's a great smile! Reid is skiing all on her own now! She started at 18 months between our legs and then moved to the straps and then to the pole and then over our week long vacation at the mountain in the end of February/early March this year she started skiing all by herself! We finally got a picture of her a couple weeks ago when we finally remembered to bring the camera out on the slopes with us.

Reid and Ben playing together in the condo. Thankfully they are nice to each other some of the time! We had some verrrry cold and windy ski days this year at Saddleback. Matt decided to go out on this day and I believe it was -5 degrees and the wind was blowing, brrrrrrr.

Ben is ready to ski! He was so happy to get to wear the ski boots and put the skis on and carry the poles. We decided to take him skiing and he loved it! We put Reid on skis when she was 18 months old too so I guess he's going to follow in her footsteps.

I celebrated my 33rd birthday this year. The kids (Pops and Mammy included) loved to sing happy birthday and then blow the candles out on the cake. We just kept relighting the candles and singing!Reid was in the cardboard box race again this year. She didn't seem to have as much fun as last year but we sure enjoyed it. We are already working on improving the box design for next year!

Holiday Gathering December 2006

This posting is very late, 4 months late. We had a little holiday gathering at our house in South Berwick a few weekends before Christmas. We used Matt's camera to take these pictures and I just dowloaded them to my computer tonight! This was a very informal gathering that turned out to be much smaller than we had planned due to illnesses and people having other obligations. We had a great time visiting with our cousins and second cousins who could make it. I love this picture below of my cousin Eric (my moms side) and his wife Marie, aren't they cute!
