Tristan is a water skier now!

He finally did it! After 3 long years and lots of complaining and a few threats he finally got up on skis and did a great job. The water was not as warm as Tristan would have liked but he did ski 3 times while we were at the West Gardiner house. You can see Matt in the background, he was in the water helping T. I was in the boat with Pops, Reid and Ben and I was screaming! We are very happy for T and he seems very proud too. Here's another picture of him, his skis are pretty far apart but he stayed up for quite a while.

Benjamin's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday Ben! Grammy, Daddy, Mommy, Tristan and Reid had some take out Olive Garden for dinner and cupcakes for dessert the night before Ben's offical B-day. Reid loved singing to Ben and helping him blow out the candle. We celebrated again tonight, on his real birthday, with Pops. Ben enjoyed the cupcakes and having us sing to him.

New Swingset! Our Easter present to the kids this year was a swingset. It took us all weekend to put it together but finally mid day on Sunday Reid could play on it. I did all the organizing of the pieces and we had help from our neighbors for the assembly. All 3 kids have really enjoyed it this summer.

Skowhegan Fair. We went to the Skowhegan fair this past Sunday with Cousin Julie, Matt, Chase and a friend of Julie's. Reid loved all the kiddie rides and especially the carousel/merry-go-round. I went on the tea cups with Reid and was feeling yucky afterwards.

Tristan - picture taken by his Gram (Vera). Tristan has enjoyed his Tae-kwon-do the past couple of years. He is enrolled in a before-after school daycare that offers Tae-kwon-do.

First real blog post

Well here it is my first real blog post. I've not done this before but have really enjoyed 2 of my friends blogs, Deb and Katie. I've tried to attach a recent picture of the kids. It's hard to get a good picture of all 3 of them now. Tristan had his last day of summer camp today. He played a lot of baseball this summer with Little League and All-stars. Reid is very happy to have Tristan around more in the month of August. Reid took a big digger last week, she had a very fat lip for several days but is recovering just fine now. Benjamin is all over the place now after he started crawling on July 5th. Ben is still quite a fussy guy, good thing he's so cute. We start our family vacation tomorrow. We look forward to several days up at the lakes. Then Matt and I go on our first vacation without the kids! We will be heading to London and Rome for a week.
